Patricia Hoffman

Patricia Rae Hoffman passed away May 1, 2008, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Patricia was born June 15, 1953, to Leonard and Esther Krueger and had a brother, Michael Krueger. She grew up and attended schools in Fort Collins and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1972. Patricia met and married her high school sweetheart, David Hoffman, in 1973, and they had a son, Jason Hoffman. Patricia was active in softball and bowling for many years and made many friends along the way. She began competitive bodybuilding, training at The Zone Health Club. She was very proud to have won several amateur competitions and continued to compete right up until her illness. Patricia is survived by her husband, David Hoffman; son, Jason Hoffman; parents, Esther and Leonard Krueger; brother, Michael Marilyn Krueger; her husband's parents, Jim and Ruth Hoffman; brothers-in-law, Daniel Hoffman Sandra, Phillip Hoffman, and sisters-in-law, Cindy Dwayne Hamer and Heather Neil Woilhart, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. The family would like to thank Hospice for all of their kind and loving care throughout Patricia's illness. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
