Patricia Mae Harmon, 76, of Fort Collins, died May 31, 2005, at Columbine Care Center West. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Harmon, and granddaughter, Emily Harmon, both of Fort Collins; and by her daughter, Judith Harmon Swafford and son-in-law, Patrick Swafford, of Cheyenne, Wyo. She is also survived by two nieces and a nephew in California. Patricia was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Denver, to Ernest and Marie Smith. She grew up in southern California and returned to Denver where she graduated from North High School in 1946. She married Robert Harmon in 1948. They resided in Denver and divorced in 1972. Patricia was an avid reader and obtained the title of Grand Life Master in Tournament Bridge. At age 44, she acquired a debilitating neuropathy from which she suffered the remainder of her life. Her outlook, however, always remained positive. She moved to Fort Collins in 1985. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Smith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St. The Rev. Bruce Grauberger will officiate. Cremation will take place.
