Patricia K. Engstrom

Patricia K. Engstrom, 91, passed away peacefully at Lemay Avenue Heath and Rehab Facility in Fort Collins, CO on April 11. Pat was born on June 15, 1927 to Henry and Naomi Kolpien. She grew up in Warren, PA and graduated from Warren High School. She went to Penn State and graduated with a degree in journalism. She married William Engstrom in 1949 and they adopted two children.

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Bill, her parents, and a sister, Betty Jean. She is survived by her children Susan Dameron (Chris) of Fort Collins, CO, and David Engstrom of Pine Bluff, AR, a sister, Julie March (Fritz) of Sierra Vesta, AZ, grandchildren Alison and Andy, great-grandchildren, Jali, Dean, and Logan, as well as a niece, two nephews, and brother-in-law, Bob Engstrom.

Pat was active in many Lutheran Churches, especially at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greenville, NC. She loved painting, photography, and traveling. She and Bill especially loved traveling to Germany.

A family memorial will be held at a later date at one of her favorite places, the beach, in North Carolina.
