Pansy Stahlecker of Ft. Collins died March 14, 2014 at Columbine Health at the age of 81.She was born June 20, 1932 in Cheyenne, WY to Everitt Cecil & Esther Schwartz Cecil. Pansy lived her younger years in the Leadville, CO area before moving to the Greeley, CO area. That is where she met and married her first husband, Wilbert Eckhardt in 1949. In 1959 they moved to Wellington, CO till his death in 1971. Pansy moved to Ft. Collins, became a LPN and worked for PVH, then Columbine West Nursing till her retirement in 1991. Pansy married Ervin Stahlecker in 1974 in Ft. Collins. They enjoyed BINGO, trips to Black Hawk, and doing some traveling. She was a member of The Women of The Moose and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ervin Stahlecker; three children, Dave and Cynthia Eckhardt of Ft. Collins, Betty and Dave Renzelman of WA, Nina and Neil Spark of WA; one step daughter, Nanci Stahlecker of Loveland; seven grandchildren, Dave and Kiel Eckhardt, Nathan Renzelman, Melissa Renzelman Hockett, Kate GilmoreDobbins, Becky Gilmore Beech, Chrystal Spark; eleven great grandchildren, Felicia, Shelby, Kayla, Hayden & Scarlett Eckhardt, Sidney Hockett, Madison Renzelman, Risa Gilmore, Brian and Abbey Beech, Autum Bullock; sister, Mary Smith of NC; brothers, Ted and Linda Cecil of Nevada, Charles and Pat Cecil of CA.; also, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Preceding Pansy in death are her parents; first husband, Wilbert; one stepson, Don Stahlecker, one grandson Michael Gilmore; and one step grandson, Tony Spark. A casual Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1200 S. Taft Hill Rd. in Ft. Collins.
