Pamela Lorraine Sperstad died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 after a 2-year battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, a very rare and aggressive cancer. She was born January 31, 1957 in Salina, Kansas where she was raised and attended college at Kansas State University and Kansas University. In 1986 she married Terry Sperstad and raised 3 daughters Kieley Nicole, Adley Rochelle and Caitlin Jordan as well as a stepdaughter, Amy Lynn. They moved to Colorado in 1992 where all girls attended school. Pam was a retail business owner for 15 years enjoying the countless employees that she worked with whom in most cases became life long friends. Also a place that all 3 daughters launched their first jobs in high school years. She is survived by her life partner and love of her life, Terry Sperstad; her daughters, Kieley Martinez and husband, Phillip, Adley Myers and husband, Andrew, Caitlin Sperstad and stepdaughter, Amy Sperstad; a grandson, Lincoln Martinez; a godson, Cohan Bonow, and his siblings, Graysen and Quinlan. Her mother, Loretta Dussault died in 1977. Pamela has 2 sisters, Patty and Penny still living in Salina, Kansas. The Sperstad family on Terry's side includes over 100 people. Sister-in-laws, brother in-laws and many nieces and nephews first and second. A Memorial Service will be held at Timberline Church in the South Auditorium, 2908 S. Timberline Road on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Barb Myers will officiate the service. Those who desire may view Pamela, Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
