Pamela Jo Northey, 80, Fort Collins, CO, passed away on March 25th, 2023.
Pamela was born on January 3rd, 1943, to parents Erwin and Burnis Fisher, in Waterloo, IA. After Pam graduated from Durango High School, she studied home equities and accounting at Colorado State University.
While in college, Pam met Larry Northey. They dated and were engaged for five years while Larry was serving in the US Army. They were married on April 11th, 1964, at Saint Paul's Church of Christ in Cedar Falls, IA. They celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Pam had an extensive career in accounting, working at Handy Dan Home Improvement for 10+ years, Marriott Hotels for 10+ years, and Colorado State University for 20+ years.
In 2016, Pam retired and spent her time doing her favorite hobbies, reading, traveling, visiting with her family, and spending time with her husband.
Pamela is survived by her husband Larry Northey, daughter Stacey Northey, two grandchildren Ryan Skold and Kayla (Jackson) Hunter, two great grandchildren, Chase and Clarke Hunter, and her sisters Marliee Fisher, Diane Fuller, and Steffanie (Darrel) Krueger.
Service will be at Skyline Clubhouse, 2211 W Mulberry Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521, April 15th, 2023, starting at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
