Listen to Obituary
Page Ann Peters, 58, of Fort Collins passed away on October 4, 2021. Page was born November 15, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Robert Mitman and Joan Dean Mitman. She was the wife of Michael Joseph Peters, and they shared 36 years of marriage.

Page loved to perform. In her early years, she won two state championships for strut and baton twirling. She later choreographed the color guard at various schools including for the Fort Collins High School marching band.

After she graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, Page worked as a nurse for many years; most notably as a certified lactation consultant at Poudre Valley Hospital. She was awarded the Magnet Nurse Award in 2015 for New Knowledge, Innovations and Improvements.

Page greatly enjoyed helping new mothers and their infants, as it was an extension of her favorite thing: being a mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her extraordinary empathy, her ability to love and care for family and strangers alike, and her desire to help and make everyone feel understood.

She is survived by her spouse, mother, and four siblings; one son Michael J Peters II (Lisa); three daughters Aly (John), Abbey (Chris), and Nicolette (Collin); her six grandchildren Jonah, Philip, George, Oliver, Penelope, and Larkin; and her beloved doodle Beasley. She was preceded in death by her father.
