After his hundredth birthday he moved for a final time to Columbine Commons assisted living in Windsor. Oscar enjoyed visiting and reminiscing about his past and especially the history of Windsor.
He amazed folks he talked with, because his mind was so sharp and he remembered virtually everything. A particular joy to him and his family was his 100th birthday party at the Timnath Church. The church was filled with family and friends young and old, much to his delight. Oscar was a family man, a great dad to his three children and to Lucille's children as well. He particularly delighted in spending time with all the grandchildren and loved them all.
