Ollie Ruth Kindsfather, lovingly known as Ruth, was born on December 18, 1948, and went home to be with her Lord on January 25, 2026. Ruth was an amazingly faithful child of God whose life reflected a deep and abiding love for the Lord. She was soft-spoken, wise, and endlessly encouraging, always ready with a kind word or a faithful prayer. Though she lived many years with physical pain, Ruth carried herself with remarkable joy and trust in the Lord, never allowing suffering to dim her spirit or her hope. She was an excellent homemaker who lovingly cared for her children, creating a home rooted in faith, warmth, and devotion. Beyond her family, Ruth quietly ministered to countless others, faithfully serving behind the scenes. She was a true prayer warrior, believing deeply in the power of prayer and consistently lifting others up before the Lord. Ruth shared a deep love with her husband, Robert Kindsfather, and it brings comfort to know that she is now joyfully reunited with him, walking together in the presence of their Savior. She is also preceded into glory by her brother-in-law, Dick Kindsfather, and her sisters, Shirley Logue and Gloria Farr. She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Jewel Pederson, Genny Garrison, Jo Ann Howard, Janie Grovenn, and Eddie Pearl Jackson; her sons, Flint Kindsfather and Seth Kindsfather; her grandchildren, Maddeline Kindsfather and Sky Kindsfather; her granddaughter-in-law, Lillie Kindsfather; and her great-grandchild, Forest Kindsfather. She is also survived by a host of nieces—Tina De Los Santo, Charity Lawler, Brandy Tayler, Kristy Foster, Tonya Mitchel, Lindsey Sibley, Christy, Candy Geer, Susan Shuler, Terri Shuler, and Amanda Jewell—and nephews—Milo Muirhead, Ty Muirhead, Troy Hansen, Ricky, Randy Oliphant, Samuel Logue, Joshua Logue, Jonathan Logue, Jason Jackson, Sean Crocker, and Johnathan Crocker, —who will all cherish her memory and the love she shared so freely. Ruth's life reflected Jesus in word and deed. She has finished her race, kept the faith, and now rests in the eternal peace and joy of her Savior. She leaves behind a legacy of faith that will continue to inspire all who knew her. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness…" — 2 Timothy 4:7–8
