Olivia P. Bogard, of Fort Collins, died May 31, 2009 at Columbine Care Center West. Mrs. Bogard was born in Walker, KS on December 22, 1917 to Andrew Brown and Agatha Bach Brown. She moved to Fort Collins from Kansas in 1937. On May 9, 1938 she married Ernest Bogard. Mrs. Bogard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and gardening. She was a retired cook and baker at St. Joseph Catholic School. Survivors include her husband; sons Gerald of Fort Collins, and William of Walla Walla, WA; a daughter Beverly Sheahan of Fort Collins; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; five sisters and two brothers. A Rosary will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery after the services.
