Oliver Dean Burgess

Oliver Dean Burgess born December 15, 1934, Bellvue, Colorado, passed away June 2, 2011. Dean served in the United Stated Marine Corps and worked and retired from Public Service Company. He enjoyed his grandkids, hiking, hunting, fishing and taking long drives in the mountains. He was a longtime active member of Meadowlark Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Burgess; son and daughter in-law, Ty and Michelle Harris, daughter and son in-law, Carey Ann and Richard Hughes; grandkids, Hunter Harris, Nickolas Hughes, Landon Harris and Madison Hughes; and his brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Karen Burgess. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Raymond and Alice Stroup; and parents, Oliver Jasper and Helen Burgess. A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p..m., Tuesday,.
