Odilia GÇ£OdieGÇ¥ A.P. Bliss, born June 19, 1956 to Angelo and Clara Panella; passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday Aug. 25th 2008. She left this earth and is now in the loving arms of Jesus Christ forever. Odie, a 1974 graduate of Poudre High School continued her education at CSU and enjoyed being a student. Odie was employed at CSU in the Dept of Atmospheric Sciences until the time of her passing. Over a 30-year span she personally helped thousands of individuals, businesses, media and government agencies find and use weather and climate information. People from all across Colorado and the U.S. looked forward to her cheerful voice on the phone and competent assistance. Odie met James Bliss in 1974 and married on June 29th 1985. Jim and Odie shared 34 years of friendship and love. Sharing their lives with beloved family, friends, Dogs, Rip, RipJr and her two horses, Beau and Star. Odie loved the outdoors, animals and sports enjoying softball, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting with the dogs and riding her horses with Sue and Linda. Odie is survived by her Husband James Bliss, Mother, Clara Panella, Her brothers, Carmen Karen Panella and Dominic Barbara Panella, Her Sisters Margaret Robert Insko, and Regina Roettjer, 13 Nieces and Nephews, 4 Great Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father, and Brother Tony. Odie was like a Daughter to Fran Bliss GÇ£MotherGÇ¥. Sister to Tim & Gale, Beth and Becky Bliss, Linda, Wendy, Natalie, Nolan, Willy, Terry, Pat and so many others too numerous to list we apologize for not being able to do so. Odie loved her family and was always there to help or just come over for an afternoon to visit and just play with the children. Odie was a wonderful Wife, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, and GREAT Aunt to the 4 new babies in the family. She was a wonderful Friend and neighbor. Odie was a loving, caring, giving person, She never asked for anything but was always there for others. God made OdieGÇÖs eyes more beautiful than any other Gem stone he ever created. A smile that could light up anyoneGÇÖs day. Odie is and will always be deeply Loved and missed by Family and Friends leaving a void that will never be filled. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., Bethel Baptist Church, 833 S. Taft Hill Rd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Marc Leveritt and Pastor Dan Preston will officiate at the services. Those who desire may view Odie, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
