Nyanna Kaye Fischer, 65, finished her battle with metastatic Pancreatic Cancer and walked into Heaven's gates on September 22, 2024. She was at her daughter's house surrounded by the playful noises of her grandchildren before giving them a last "I love you" and a final goodnight hug. Her children remained by her side and held her until her final breath.
Nyanna began her journey in this life as Nyanna Kaye Savage on January 20, 1959, amidst the hills of West Virginia and continued her journey down the rivers of Kentucky before spending her last 33 years admiring the mountains of Colorado. She spent 49 years perfecting her profession as a Cosmetologist-leaving each of us, and the world, a bit more beautiful. Though her creative talents were her passion, her greatest pride was found in her children and her grandchildren whose hearts are longing to see her again. She is a treasure greatly missed by them as well as by her mother, a brother, and numerous family members and friends.
Just like the hummingbirds she so enjoyed, she flew in and out of our lives much too quickly, but glory to be to God who gives us life beyond the grave. A memorial service will be held November 22, 2024, at Generations Church in Greeley, Colorado at 10:00 am. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend as we celebrate her life.
