Norma Agnes McGee, 83, of Wellington, CO competed her purpose here on earth and was called away by her creator on February 6, 2026. She will always be known and remembered as a wonderfully kind, lovely, thoughtful person and a well-loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Norma was born in 1942 to Bill and Mary Neish of Raton, New Mexico where she grew up with her siblings, Jane, Margaret and Bill. She graduated from Raton High School in 1960 and married Pat McGee later that year. The family later moved to Albuquerque for a number of years before moving to Waverly, Colorado where Pat and Norma remained as the children pursued their life paths and dispersed throughout the country.
She raised 6 lovely children, Rory Patrick, Debra Lou, Michael Allen, Darrol Shawn, Timothy Wayne and Brenda Lynn where she helped them with 4-H, school projects, sports activities and provided great life guidance. Her children grew and eventually provided her with 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In 1982 she began working with Poudre School District as a librarian for Waverly Elementary then Eyestone Elementary as a headstart aid where she provided great care for her students who remain fond of her to this day. In 2006 she decided to leave the school district and retire to a quiet life in the country with her husband Pat.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Private family services will be at a future date at Johnson Mesa in New Mexico.
