Norma J. Drovdal

Norma J. Drovdal, 81, of Wiggins, Colorado, died September 14, 2012 in her daughter, Linda's care at the Tribute Homes Assisted Living facility. Mrs. Drovdal was born February 27, 1931 in Harrison, South Dakota to Ira and Sarah DeHaai. Norma married Norris A. Drovdal on February 15, 1950 in Watertown, South Dakota. Mrs. Drovdal was raised in South Dakota, lived at Gillette, Wyoming over 50 years and then moved to Fort Collins in 2007. She was very active in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gillette, Wyoming, serving as president of LWML many years and quilting with the Ruth Circle. Survivors include her children, Sharon Hood Larry of Fort Collins, Douglas Drovdal of Eaton, Paul Drovdal Len of Greeley, Linda Allen Neil of Orchard, Kari Knight Smokey of Fort Collins, Peggy Drovdal of Littleton and Bryce Drovdal Lisa of Fort Collins; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceding Norma in death are her parents, Ira and Sarah; husband, Norris; daughter-in-law, Janis Drovdal; and sister, Maryellen Stoddard. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1001 E. 9th St., Gillette, Wyoming on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. A Private inurnment will be held at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming.
