Listen to Obituary
Nita B. Zielke, known to her family and friends as Gigi, went home to the Lord on May 27, 2016. She was born August 5, 1932 in Wichita, Kansas to Hugh R. and Bea Bader. She and her brother, Hugh R. Bader, Jr. (Bud), grew up moving around the country as her father opened new dealerships for GM. They typically spent only one or two years in one location before moving on to the next assignment. She moved to Fort Collins in 1953 or 1954 where she found her earthly home, living there until her last day. She is survived by her children David (Lesli), Richard (Patty), Leslie (Allen) and Meaghan (Steve), her eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her sister Bonnie (Dan).

Nita liked to travel, making trips to Ireland and Germany on more than one occasion.

Nita was very independent. She was wheelchair-bound for approximately the last seven years of her life, but insisted on living in her home of 55 years. She attended Fort Collins Bible Church.
Nita is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bud.
