Listen to Obituary
Always young at heart, Neydene Daniel Rutt Robertson, 74, surrounded by her family, passed peacefully into God's arms on August 1, 2011. She was born in Alamosa, Colorado in 1936 to Bill and Fannye Daniel. Growing up in her beloved Alamosa, soon after graduating from High School there, she married Jerry Rutt and together they had three children; Bill, Cindy, and Wayne, raising them in Denver and Loveland. She later married Bill Robertson and spent 15 years living, nestled in their home, along the Poudre River. After Bill's death, and finding it more difficult to live by herself in the mountains, she moved to Fort Collins for the remaining years of her life. We are grateful for the loving care provided at Columbine West and Poudre Valley Hospital ICU. Neydene will always be remembered, and honored, for her huge loving heart, generosity, and love for the Lord. Though faced with many challenges in life she maintained the courage and poise to successfully navigate through them with His love. She is survived by her children, Bill and his wife, Betty Pineda , Cindy , and Wayne and his wife, Rhonda Humenny; grandchildren, Heidi, Billy, AJ, and Kristen; great grandchildren, Emma, and Isabella, along with much loved extended family, Michael Robertson, his wife, Karen; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, and Olivia who continued to honor Neydene with their love and support for many years. A very casual Memorial Service will be held with family and friends at 3:00 p.m. on August 21, 2011 at Timberline Oldtown Church, 144 S. Mason, Fort Collins with Pastor Darren Fred officiating.
