Nancy Ostler (nee Birkeland) passed away peacefully late Tuesday evening, October 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Previously a resident of Estes Park, Nancy owned and operated Meadowbrook Child Development Center and Pre-School. Nancy most recently resided at the Lemay Long Term Care Facility in Ft. Collins since 2024. The staff, especially the nurses and CNA's will sadly miss her.
Preceded in death by her husband Jerry, Nancy is survived by her sons Jonathan and his wife Grace and Nathan and his wife Michelle; her daughters Julie and her partner, Jay and Joy and her partner, Deanna, and four grandchildren Daniel, Chelsea, Trevor, and Tyler.
Nancy will be taken home to Utah, where she will be laid to rest with her husband in the family cemetery.
Her caring, quiet, and loving spirit, will be missed by all.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Lemay facility for the wonderful care that Nancy received, not only at the end of her life, but over the past few years.
