On August 4, 2021, Nancy Lorraine Maestas passed away at the age of 64.
Nancy was born on February 23, 1957 in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from William J. Palmer High School and attended the University of Colorado for a short time. She was more of a worker than a student and had many jobs while living in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs.
She was a proud and present mother who raised two sons, Alex and William. They meant everything to her. Nancy had a passion for people and enjoyed life. She enjoyed listening to stories and told ones of her childhood with those she loved the most. To know Nancy was to know you had a true friend for life.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Irma Maestas, two brothers, Andy and Roger. She is survived by her sons Alex and William, her sisters Cathy and Noelle and her sisters-in-law Anne and Gail, plus several nieces and nephews Spencer, Stewart, Andrea, Andrew, and Erika.
Nancy will be laid to rest during a private ceremony. The family would like to invite friends and family to join us Monday, August 23, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Craftwood Inn located at 404 El Paso Blvd., Manitou Springs, CO 80829. This will be a gathering of friends and family to share, laugh, and remember Nancy's life. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
