Listen to Obituary
Nancy Ellen Aragon went home to our Lord on May 23, 2013. Nancy was born February 16, 1944 in Vincennes, IN to Mildred L. and John H. Heacock. Mildred and the children moved to Ft. Collins in the spring of 1953. Nancy graduated class of 1962 from Cache La Poudre High School, and married Dave Aragon two years later, they had three children. Following their divorce in 1978, Nancy returned to her alma mater in various positions until 2002, when she moved to Loveland. Many students and staff will remember her endearing smile and genuine love of people. Nancy's career at PHS held some of the best times of her life, and kept her young at heart. She was an avid fan and ticket-taker at Poudre High sporting events. She enjoyed spending time with family and close friends, and supporting the activities of her kids and grandkids. She was a devout Christian and always saw the best in everyone she met. Nancy is survived by her brother, John T. Heacock of Saddlebrook, AZ; her daughter, Ronni Aragon Norman Wyatt; and her son, Alan Aragon Deanna of Ft. Collins; and her daughter, LeAnn Price Bill of Westminster. Nancy had nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, all of whom she spoiled as often as she could. There will be a private family service followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion from 4-6pm on Wednesday, May 29. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to the American Diabetes Association in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524. May Nancy's soul rest in peace, she will be dearly missed.
