Nadine M. Rhodes, 83, of Fort Collins, died January 3, 2010 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Rhodes was born September 28, 1926 in Winfield, Kansas to Paul B. Holman and Martha Brooks Holman. Nadine married C. D. "Ted" Rhodes on May 18, 1947 in Winfield, Kansas. Mrs. Rhodes was a bookkeeper for her husband's auto repair, Rhodes Auto Repair. She also owned Campus West Hobby Craft. She was a member of American Baptist Church since they moved to Ft. Collins in 1955 and was involved in many women's groups at the church. Her church family was a big part of her life. She enjoyed crafts, the outdoors, and camping. She and her husband were awarded the "Best Neighbors Award" several years ago. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, C. D. "Ted" Rhodes of Ft. Collins; a son, Doug Rhodes of Williamsburg, Kansas; one daughter, Connie Lynn Jones of Ogden, Utah; a sister, Faye Waldron of Ponca City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Paul, Elizabeth, Amy, and Emily, and five great-grandchildren. Preceding Nadine in death are her parents and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at American Baptist Church, 600 S. Shields, on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Bill Prather will officiate at the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Elder Haus in care of American Baptist Church, 600 S. Shields, Ft.
