Myrtle "Pat" Jekel, 83, passed away on January 6, 2021 in Fort Collins.
Myrtle was born on January 19, 1937 in Hebron, OH to Erwin Northcraft and Dorothy Burden.
Survivors include her children, Joanne (Chuck) Andrews and Susan (Kevin) Anderson; a sister, Barbara Simpson; grandchildren Dustin, Jeanie, Derek, Tim, Taylor and Chayce; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her ex-husband, Alexander Jekel and her son, Michael Jekel preceded her.
Viewing at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, Saturday, 1/9/21 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Pat was a generous, loving individual, who had a gift to gab. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat worked at Krogers in Denver during the 1960's and for over 20 years at King Soopers on South College. She loved hiking, biking, visiting places in Colorado, playing and caring for her grandchildren. Her spirit was expressed through the omnichord and singing in the church choir.
