Moreen Joyce Wagner passed away of natural causes on Monday, August 29th, 2022, at Poudre Valley Hospital. She was born May 23rd, 1929, in South Dakota to Stanley and Lola Chubb. She moved to Fort Collins with her family at a young age. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1947.
She worked for "Ma Bell" as a telephone operator after High School. She married Donald Roy Wagner on November 27th, 1952 and became a homemaker. She had three children, Steven Wagner in 1956, Nola McIntosh in 1961 and Scott Wagner in 1965.
She was known as a very good cook and an active supporter of her children's activities. She enjoyed playing cards, playing the piano, and reading.
She is survived by son Steven (Lucy) Wagner of Laramie, Wyoming, brother Richard Chubb of Loveland Colorado, grandchildren Jason Wagner of Aurora, Colorado, Daniel Wagner of Loveland, Colorado, and Mary Wagner of Laramie, Wyoming. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Aubrey (Richard) Babb and Xavier Wilson of Greeley, Colorado, Bobbie Atencio, George Wagner, and Emma Wagner of Laramie, Wyoming, Eliza Wagner of Aurora, Colorado, Crystal Wagner of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Benjamin Koretko of Georgia and Tyanna McIntosh of Denver, Colorado. She also leaves behind great great-grandson Tymaine Koretko of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Donald Wagner, brothers Melvin and Marvin Chubb, son Scott Wagner, daughter Nola McIntosh, and granddaughter Esther Wagner.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Wednesday, September 7th at 2:00 PM.
