Monica Louisa Boss St. John passed away on March 5, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center in Loveland, CO. Monica was born in Rochester, NY to John and Louisa Boss on October 15, 1919, the youngest of 5 children. She graduated from Madison High School in Rochester and worked for Yawman & Erbe in Rochester. She was married to Francis St. John on March 24, 1945 while he was home on leave from the United States Navy. Monica and Francis have five sons, Arthur in October 1946, Robert in May 1949, David in November 1951, Donald in January 1955, and Daniel in February 1958. Monica and Francis moved from Rochester to Fort Collins, CO in January 1971 when he was transferred to Windsor by Eastman Kodak Company. Monica and Francis were members of Saint Joseph's Parish in Fort Collins. Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Francis in November 2012; her son, Donald in September 2011; her parents, John and Louisa Boss; her sister, Gertrude; brothers, John, Norbert, and Edward. She is survived by her sons, Arthur Gayle of Westminster, CO, Robert Wendy of Albion, NY, David Denise of Douglas, WY, Daniel Rita of Fort Collins, CO; Donald's widow, Carolyn of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, Danielle Wingert Jeremy of Steamboat Springs, CO, Marlene St. John of Albion, NY, Charles Val St. John of Holley, NY, Michael St. John of WY, Robert Dixie St. John of Kenai, AK, Michelle Martin of Douglas, WY, Christopher St. John of Fort Collins, CO, Anthony St. John Angela of Fort Collins, CO, Gregory St. John of Shreveport, LA, and Jennifer St. John of Fort Collins, CO, and eleven great grandchildren. Viewing will be at Bohlender's Funeral Chapel on Sunday, March 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by the Rosary; the funeral mass will be Monday, March 11 at 9:30 a.m.at St. Joseph's Church in Fort Collins with interment at Grandview Cemetery following the Mass. The family would like to thank the staff at Pathways Hospice, especially Michelle D & Michelle S, and all the ladies at Right at Home for taking good care of Mom the last few months. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Pathways Hospice in Monica's memory in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.
