Miriam Lucille Haynes

Miriam L. Haynes, born Aug. 8, 1924, in Fort Collins CO, passed away on June 8, 2016. She was the only child of Alva and Mae Redd. She wedded Raymond "Bus" Haynes, the love of her life, on June 6, 1948. Miriam and Bus had one child, Dan, born on Aug. 23 ,1949. Bus passed away in 2005. When her family was young Miriam enjoyed camping in the mountains with family and local Jeep club activities. She loved to dance and created beautiful needlework and crochet items. Her biggest passion in life was her family and friends. She loved to entertain and socialize. Miriam is survived by Dan, her son, and his wife, Betty, who was like a daughter to her. Also her grandsons, Scott and Ryan, and Ryan's wife, Mary will miss seeing her at every holiday, birthday and celebration, up until the very end of her life. Alex and Nathan, her great-grandchildren, were blessed to have many years with such a wonderful grandma.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 1 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
