Minnie Schneider

Minnie K. Schneider, 94, died at home June 16, 2007. Born in Chicago, Minnie lived for many years in Dallas before moving to Fort Collins in 1986. Her parents were Alexander Schneider and Maria Katherine Schneider. Minnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Alex and Henry Snubby Schneider. She is survived by a brother, Robert D. Schneider of Houston, Texas, and by her surrogate children, Karen L. Schneider, Robert A. and Joan T. Schneider, and Mitchell M. Schneider. The family would like to give its special thanks to Mary Murphy and Kathy Mahaffey, excellent friends and neighbors, and to Jean Kahn, who cared for Minnie with love. A private memorial service will be in July. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cal Farley's Boys and Girls Ranch in Texas. Other survivors include two nieces, Dorothy Schneider Hovel and Shirley Amen; a nephew, Alan Schneider; and two grandnieces, Audra Schneider and Kelsey Schneider.
