Mildred "Millie" Owens Hanna, 97, passed away, July 20, 2007, after a short illness. Millie was born, July 28, 1909, in Perry, Okla. to Charles and Mary Roberts. She moved to Fort Collins in 1912. She married Harold Owens on Feb. 1, 1928. Harold died in 1964. She married Ralph A. Hanna on April 7, 1972. Ralph died in 1986. Millie attended Fort Collins High School and worked at Scrivner's Market, The State Dry Goods and LaKay Fabrics. She led a full and active life, belonging to The Pioneer Association and The First Presbyterian Church. Millie loved spending time with her family, playing golf, gardening, reading, traveling and the Denver Broncos. She is survived by daughters Shirley Dyekman and her husband, Robert, of Fort Collins; Janet Hanna of Centennial; and son, Robert Owens, and his wife, Robin, of Minden, Nev.; seven grandchildren; James, and his wife, Linda Dyekman, Gary Dyekman, Sally Wright and her husband, Bill, Tom Hanna and his wife, Joyce, Grant Hanna and his wife, Cheri, Jayne Mansfield and her husband, James, and Steven Owens; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher and Danielle Wright, Andrew and Haley Hanna, Ian, Adam and Graham Mansfield. Millie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold and Ralph; one brother, William Roberts; one sister, Faye Scrivner; and son-in-law, Ralph L. Hanna. . A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, 531 S. College. A private graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery. Rev. Scott Herr will officiate.
