Mildred A. Crabtree

Mildred A. Crabtree, 89, of Northglenn formerly of Fort Collins, died October 27, 2010 at Sunny Acres Nursing Facility. Mrs. Crabtree was born April 14, 1921 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Leon and Kostance "Matulis" Palas. Mildred married Milton Crabtree January 30, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia. Mrs. Crabtree lived in the Fort Collins/Wellington area starting in 1946. She then returned to Fort Collins in 1995 after spending 8 years in Florida. Mildred enjoyed bowling, doing jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Kenneth of Beaverton, Oregon, Ginger Crabtree of Fort Collins, Christine Crabtree of Northglenn; and sister, Helen Hebenstreit of North Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Preceded by her parents, husband, and son, Thomas Crabtree. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church on Monday at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
