Michael J. Ramirez, Sr., 60, of Fort Collins, died January 24, 2012 at a local nursing home. Mr. Ramirez was born January 3, 1952 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Adolph and Mary T. Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez lived most of his life in Fort Collins, was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, served as an Alter boy, attended Holy Family School and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1970. Michael married Dorothy P. Jacques and they had four children, Tonia Salazar, Michael J Ramirez, Jr., Carolyn Ramirez, and Alejandro Andrew Ramirez all who reside in Fort Collins. He was a boiler maker for Local 101 of Denver, Colorado since 1973. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, watching old classic movies as well as spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his brothers, Bernard of Windsor, Arthur of Fort Collins, Angelo of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sisters, Dolores Garcia of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Judy Padia of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Diana Marez of Loveland, Colorado, and Aurora Estroga of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding Michael in death are his parents, Adolph and Mary; brothers, Ted and Adolph, Jr. and sisters, Mary Louise and Mary Alice Ramirez. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who wish may view Michael Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Michael J.
