1942-2015
Mike was born in Los Angeles, CA on September 26, 1942. He attended school in southern California, where he met his wife Sharon Lewis while they were in high school. They married on December 23, 1961. He passed away on December 26, 2015 with his family at his side, three days following his and Sharon's 54th wedding anniversary. Mike served in the US Army from 1962-1968. He and Sharon had three children, Jennifer Sprenger (Mike). Kevin Netik, and David Netik (Jennifer). Seven grandchildren, Eric, Kayla (Nick), Marissa, Sarah, Tyler, Zachary, and Caden. Four great grandchildren, Riais, Aiden, Sydney, and Xander. All survive him including his very special niece, Joann Hauswirth.
Mike was the owner of Phoenix Turbine, where he specialized in the jet engine industry through his whole career. Mike and Sharon loved to travel, they enjoyed trips all over the world. His favorite places were Rome, Italy, and their 2nd home in Maui. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He adored them all dearly. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. We know he is out of pain now and look forward to seeing him again.
