Michael Anthony Gonzalez, 63, was born August 8, 1955 in Greeley to Josephine and Jesus Gonzalez. He passed away on January 16, 2019 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Mary Gonzalez of Greeley, two children, Jennifer and Michael Gonzalez of Greeley; three beautiful grandchildren Kayla Marie and Kennedy Jo Gonzalez of Greeley and Michael David Alexander of Loveland; sister, Ruth Martinez (Frank) of Greeley and brother, Tom Gonzalez (Cheryl) of Milliken and various step-brothers, step sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews and church family.

Michael lived in Greeley all his life. He graduated from Greeley Central High. He married Mary Gonzalez in May 1975. They shared 43 years together. He was employed at Salud Clinic in Fort Collins, retiring in 2017 due to illness.

His family brought him great joy, he loved spending time with them, making many wonderful memories together, Michael was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Michael always had a positive thing to say about everything and kind words for all. He was raised a Seventh Day Adventist and attended the Carbon Valley SDA church in Dacono where he loved his Sabbath Class, brothers and sisters in Christ and shared the Good News with many.

Michael enjoyed reading and studying the bible. He praised his God for each new day and constantly asked for guidance, not only for himself but for his entire family, church family, and for those that needed it as well. Michael knew he would have eternal life and due to his dedication to the Lord and due to his illness, he was ready to accept the next phase.
