Michael Allen Cammack, 75, of Fort Collins, passed away quietly on November 29, 2016, with his long time companion and caregiver, Shirley Albright at his side. Mike was born on September 13, 1941 in Portland, OR to Donovan and Wanda Cammack. Mike graduated from Santa Ana College with an Associates degree in Arts in 1962. He was a talented artist throughout his life. He worked in many mediums, oils, watercolors, chalk and wood carving. He was a long time member of the Fort Collins Wood Carvers Club. He worked in design of one kind or another most of his life designing everything from perfume bottles for Avon to showerheads for Water Pik. He worked for Teledyne Water Pik for 24 years, retiring in 2000 as a Senior Design Engineer. He designed components for their showerheads and held patents for his designs. One of his wood carvings still resides in the Engineering Department at the facility on Prospect Avenue.

He and Shirley were very active, dancing weekly at the Fort Collins, Loveland and Longmont Senior Centers. They were also former members of the Good Times Dance Club. They also enjoyed hiking, fishing, traveling and volunteer work.

Mike was diagnosed with Dementia with Lewy Bodies in September 2013. With typical determination and attention to detail, he set about putting his affairs in order. He fought a courageous battle against this devastating disease.

He is survived by one son, Steven (Tori), a granddaughter, Taylor and grandson, Joshua of NJ, two brothers, Van Cammack of Fort Collins and Doug (Dayna) Perrault of CA, two sisters, Susan Coram of Fort Collins and Amy (Dale) Torres of CA, several nieces and nephews and his step-father, Al Perrault (Wee) of CA,. He also had a foster sister, Elizabeth Moneghini of WY. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby, his mother, Wanda Perrault, his father and step-mother, Don and Dorothy Cammack.

The family wishes to thank all of Mike's caregivers for their loving care. We also thank his many friends for their cards and prayers for Mike and his loved ones.

Mike was a sweet, sensitive and private man who never said an unkind word against anyone. We miss and love you. Rest in peace now in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
