Marylynn went on to raise 4 children, Lynne, Erik, Karen and Christopher with hundreds of horses, dogs, cats, and any other animal that was lucky enough to be adopted into the household. Her passion for animals is reflected in her donations to Colorado State University where she was instrumental in developing the equine program and support of the Vet school. With her husband, Gene Fischer they transformed their retired racing horses into amazing working animals on their cattle ranch near Tie Siding, Wyoming. Marylynn was also known for her love of German shepherds, fine red wine, spy novels and her travel with family and friends to Jamaica and all over Europe. Survivors include her two daughters, Lynne Fischer of Denver, CO and Karen Fischer of Fort Collins; her two sons, Erik Fischer of Fort Collins and Christopher Fischer of Vienna, Austria. She also has granddaughter, Evan Fischer of Fort Collins and Paul Fischer of Vienna, Austria.
The family will have a private spreading of the ashes on their ranch in Wyoming. Bohlender Funeral Chapel handled all the arrangements.
