Mary Louise Zebley, 79, passed to her eternal reward April 26, 2014. She was born in New Orleans, the first child of Charles and Pearl Zebley. Mary was an educator for more than 55 years, teaching in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and more recently, in Visalia, CA, and Rexburg, ID. She received two master's degrees, one in Religious Studies, and one in Special Education, her life work. Mary was a committed member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1400 S. Lynnwood Drive. Mary is survived by her three sons, Sam Zebley of Fort Campbell, Richard Zebley of Ft. Collins, and Larry Zebley of Raleigh, NC. She leaves behind her two brothers, Charles Zebley of Hoschton, GA and Robert Zebley of Ocean Springs, MS, as well as many friends and fellow church members. A service celebrating Mary's life will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1400 Lynnwood Dr. Interment will be in Garden of Memories, New Orleans, LA. The family thanks in particular Ms. Pat Bagley and Ms. Donna Fairbank for their great assistance. Also, they express their deep appreciation for the care given by Golden Peaks Center and Pathways Hospice. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or A Charity of Your Choice.
