Mary Alice Wessels

Mary Alice Wessels, 91, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Columbine Care West. She was born in Ft. Collins, December 11, 1919 and lived here all her life. She married Bill Wessels, Sr. and together they had four beautiful children. Mary loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Mary worked at Poudre Valley Hospital in the kitchen until she retired. She truly enjoyed her work there and met many very good friends. Mary is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jim and Chris Wessels, and one son in law, Bob Morrison. She is also survived by her grandchildren she so dearly loved: Ed Morrison, Mark Wessels, Mike Cure, Scott Laurie Cure and Dusty Sarah Wessels. She was also blessed with many great and great great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband, Bill Wessels Sr., two sons, Bill Wessels Jr. and Bobby Wessels; daughter, Barbara Morrison and granddaughter, Shelly Wessels. Her graveside service will be held Friday at Grandview Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at the Mirasol Senior Community Event Center at 1153 Finch Street in Loveland at 11:30 a.m
