Mary Reed

Mary K. Reed, 84, of Fort Collins, died Nov. 25 at her home. Cremation is planned. At her request, no services are scheduled. She is survived by her husband, O. Vernon Reed. They were married for 59 years. She also is survived by four daughters and two sons, Georgie Molinsky of Littleton, Tamara Stubbs of Lakewood, Jara Hinton of Fort Collins, Vanya Hauptli of Glenwood Springs, Todd Reed of Boulder and Dayne Reed of Fort Collins. In helping to rear her family, she worked at the Corn Cabin Candy Store and later worked in customer service at the May Department store up to her retirement. She was a loving and devoted mother. She was gifted at creating stencil paintings, crocheting and sewing. The family requests friends and loved ones honor and celebrate her life in your own personal way. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
