Mary N. Padia

Mary N. Padia, 90, of Fort Collins, Co. went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2022. Mary was born in Red Wing, Co on October 31, 1931. She was raised along with her sister Betty by her grandmother in Walsenberg, Co. and spent time on her dad's ranch in Red Wing during the summers. Many people knew her as Tive, short for her middle name Nativedad. She married Joe M. Padia in 1952. They raised their three children in Fort Collins.
Mary loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a soft, gentle nature and many friends. She was a wonderful cook, talented in beadwork and had a green thumb. She also loved her dog Snow. She is survived by her son Robert Padia (Debbie) and daughters Alice Rodriguez (Leon) and Nancy Byers (Keith), 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. Two children preceded her death Patsy and Davey, along with her parents and several siblings.
A service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 2:00 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins. Interment will be held on Saturday, March 19 at 2;00 at the Maes Family Cemetery in Red Wing.
