Mary Polly Mitotes, 89, of Fort Collins, went home to her Lord and Savior, on March 26, 2015. She passed away peacefully with family by her side.

Polly was born May 23, 1925 in Gardner, Colorado to Tomas and Miquela Salazar.

Polly married Joe Nick Mitotes on February 25, 1954 and lived most of her life in Fort Collins.

She enjoyed gardening and canning fruit preserves. Polly devoted her life to her family and caring for her daughter, Virginia.

Survivors include her sons, Steve Mitotes, David (Betty) Mitotes, both of Fort Collins; daughters, Virginia Mitotes, Linda (Roy) Pundt, Eleanor (Tom) Mondragon, all of Fort Collins, and Roxanne Trujillo of Denver; brother, Thomas Salazar of Colorado Springs; sister, Ernestine Trujillo of Cheyenne, Wyoming; nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Preceding Polly in death are her husband, Joe Nick Mitotes; daughter, Eileen Mitotes-Avalos; brothers, Ned, Benny, Albert, and Louis Salazar; and sister, Reynalda Duran.

A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1st at Holy Family Catholic Church. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Mitotes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
