Mary Catherine Miller, 80, of Fort Collins, died April 26, 2006, at Poudre Valley Hospital. She was born March 18, 1926, in Pernell, Iowa, to Terrance Clark and Nellie Bushman Clerkin. She moved with her family in the late 1920s to Fort Collins. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mary married Chester T. Miller on July 27, 1946, in Cheyenne, Wyo. Mary worked as a waitress at Wyatt's and Furr's cafeterias, Colorado State University and The Safari. She worked hard all her life. Her real love was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving Mary are her two daughters, Charlotte Marchetti and Laura Johnson, both of Fort Collins; a brother, Paul Clerkin, of Denver; two sisters, Rose Reales, of Littleton, and Patricia Smith, of Cincinnati; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Chester, preceded her in death in 1994. She is also preceded by her parents, six brothers and two sisters. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
