Mary Ann Mahony, 77, of Fort Collins, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, January 12, 2015, at Poudre Valley Hospital with her family by her side. Mary Ann was born October 2, 1937, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Willard Frederick Bozett and Mary Wilhelmina Lorett Bozett. Mary Ann attended Colorado Teacher's College in Greeley, Colorado, earning her degree in elementary education. She enjoyed activities with her Sigma Kappa Sorority. During college Mary Ann met her future husband, Hugh Mahony. After college Mary Ann and Hugh moved to Roselle Park, New Jersey. She briefly taught second-grade in Sayerville, NJ.

In 1967, Mary Ann and her family moved to Manila, in the Philippines, later relocating with her children to Fort Collins. For over 23 years, Mary Ann worked as an accountant for Facilities Maintenance at Colorado State University. Mary Ann loved life and enjoyed various hobbies such as travel, reading, water aerobics, sporting events, and spending time with her grandsons. She loved getting together with family and friends where funny stories were exchanged and laughter abounded. Mary Ann's infectious joy, the sparkle in her eye, and her love of family and friends will be missed by all.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mary Bozett She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Mahony Hensley; her son, Michael Mahony; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Mahony; three grandsons, Blair Hensley, Tyner and Tadan Mahony; two granddogs, Chloe and Zylks; two sisters, Bets Lirette and Jody Rodriquez (Dan); four nieces, Rebecca, Amy, Jennifer, and Shelley; one great- niece, Olive; and three great- nephews, Dalton, Xan, and Noah.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In honor of Mary Ann, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
