Mary Anne Ludi, 65 of Fort Collins, CO passed away on Saturday November 25th peacefully in her own home surrounded by her loved ones.
Mary was born to Lucario Lopez Roybal and Julia Zamora Roybal on June 24th 1952 in Lovell, Wyoming. She was the oldest of Lucario and Julia's 5 children. She would discover her gift of caring for people early on by helping her parents look after her younger siblings Lucario Jr., Linda, Celestino, and Vera. The family would eventually move to Windsor, CO
In 1969 Mary would move to Ft.Collins,CO
And wed Lorenzo Ramirez, they welcomed 3 beautiful children into the world. Anita ('69)
Michael ('73) and Stephanie ('79)
In 1986 She married Peter Ludi and they would bring two boys into the world, Martin ('87) and Alan ('92)
Mary was an extraordinary Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Big Sister, and friend who's big heart was impossible not to notice. She lived her entire life caring for others, in addition to her own children Mary also helped raise many grandchildren, nieces, nephews children of friends and family. She took lot of pride in the the house she kept and the hospitality she showed all guests of her home. Her goal was to make everyone who entered her door feel like family and they did.
Mary was proceeded in death by her parents Lucario and Julia as well as her brother Lucario Jr. She is survived by her siblings Linda, Celestino, and Vera, her children Anita, Michael, Stephanie, Martin and Alan, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
