Mary F. Klein of Fort Collins, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away February 12, 2012 in Fort Collins due to cancer. Mary was born March 30, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she grew up and graduated from St. Louis Park High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota with her identical twin sister, Pat, who preceded her in death in 2009. Mary moved to Fort Collins 11 years ago from Mequon, Wisconsin. During her time here she worked at St. Joseph Catholic Church in various volunteering capacities. She belonged to a camping group, Family Campers and RVers and loved her summer camping trips. She also enjoyed homemaking activities; designing and making clothes for her herself and her children. Mary is survived by her husband, Jim. They would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary on August 11 of this year. Also surviving are her children, Kathleen Klein of Fort Collins, Jennifer Klein of Denver and Jeff and wife, Kristi and their children, Hunter, Chloe and Karina of Ladera Ranch, California; and sister, Marcia Vandercook-Levine and her husband, Howard and their children of Madison, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Northern in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524, a charity she worked on with St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Those who desire to attend a viewing of Mary may do so from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
