Mary F. Douglass, 85, of Fort Collins died March 20, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Douglass was born June 19, 1924 in Florence, Colorado to Fred and Margaret Salazar. Mary married Donald Eugene Douglass on December 4, 1944 in Fort Collins. Mrs. Douglass was a lifelong resident of Fort Collins. She worked for Teledyne for seventeen years. Mary was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and she loved bowling and spending time in her garden. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Jones Scott; brother, Joseph Salazar of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Susie Sandoval of Denver, Colorado, Dinah Valdez and Delphine Lopez both of Fort Collins; grandchildren, Lee Ann Herrera; two great-grandchildren, Felipe E. Herrera, Jr. and Isabella C Herrera; and special, numerous nieces and nephews whom adored her and she adored them as well. She will be truly missed. Preceding Mary in death are her husband, Gene; parents, Fred and Margaret Salazar; brothers, Ferd and Joe Salazar; sisters, Lucy Gallegos and Josie Martinez.
