Marvin Jensen Magee, 84, of Poudre Canyon/Bellvue, Colorado passed away September 3, 2013 peacefully at his home. He was born May 3, 1929 in Hardy, Nebraska to Floyd and Lela Magee. Marvin graduated from Hardy High School and attended Nebraska Business Institute. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean Conflict. Marvin married Helen Shreve in 1951 and to this union four children were born: Deborah Gerald Stewart, Lori Magee, Jill Scott Holsinger, and James Magee. He had three grandsons, Andrew, Daniel, and Sam Stewart; and two granddaughters, Shelby and Baily Holsinger. Marvin was a member of the Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge, and a Shriner in the Sesostris Temple. He enjoyed his 30 years of retirement in Poudre Canyon. He was a member of the Poudre Canyon Chapel and served as Secretary/Treasurer and Chairman of the Columbarium for many years. A Memorial Service will be held September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Poudre Canyon Chapel with Interment at the Columbarium. A reception will follow the interment at the Case family home.
