Marvin E. Harvey

Marvin E. Harvey, 76, of Wellington passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Harvey was born March 19, 1937 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Virgil and Dora Mae Harvey. Marvin married Winona M. Grantham on April 5, 1958. Mr. Harvey served in the Air Force from 1954 until he retired in 1974 as a Tech Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force he worked in the heating and air conditioning industry in the Fort Collins area. Marvin enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and hunting. He also loved to watch the Broncos. Survivors include his wife Winona; two sons, Thomas Harvey of Wellington, Michael Harvey of Parker; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Tom of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Marvin in death are his father, Virgil Harvey; his mother, Dora Vail and his step-father, Jake Vail; four brothers and sisters. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Staging Area "A" at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
