Martin Winfred Kurtz

Martin "Windy" Winfred Kurtz, 77, of Fort Collins, died November 6, 2011 at McKee Medical Center. Windy was born November 19, 1933 in Wellington, Colorado to Henry and Evelyn "Eva" Kurtz. Windy married Shirley Jean Bockman on April 22, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Kurtz was a construction contractor by trade. He was a native of Fort Collins, Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; sons, Randy and his wife, Cristy, Devin and his wife, Pamela; grandchildren, Melanie, Derick, Dana, and Daniel; and one great grandchild, Daize. Preceding Windy in death are his brothers, Clarence, Helmut and sister, Judy Stroh. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4610 Hogan Ave. on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
