Martha M. Scohy

Martha M. Scohy, 91, of Loveland, was called home, October 6, 2010, by her heavenly Father. Mrs. Scohy was born May 29, 1919 to John and Martha Thompson. She married Arius J. Scohy on April 2, 1939 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mrs. Scohy lived in the Loveland/Fort Collins area all of her life. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1936. Martha was a homemaker, a member of the 1st Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher for 26 years and very active in her church. Survivors include her children, John Marina Scohy of Loveland, Diane Graff of Fort Collins and Richard Donna Scohy of Loveland; a granddaughter raised by Mrs. Scohy, Debbie Maupin; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. Preceding Martha in death are her husband Arius; daughter, Judith Roebuck, five sisters; and one brother. A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 900 E. Prospect on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
