Martha Ann Moore passed from Earth to the loving, welcoming arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 14, 2008. Her generous and vivacious spirit will be sorely missed. Born in Lincoln, Neb., on Nov. 14, 1938, to Weston and Thais Wendling, the family later relocated to Prescott, Ariz. Following high school, Martha Ann graduated from the San Francisco Academy of Art and then earned two master's degrees from the University of Arizona. She was a retired school teacher. Her greatest joy was her two daughters and seven grandchildren. Her interests included cooking, mountain sculpting, walking in the woods, studying the Bible and yard work. She also was a talented artist and a curious intellectual. Martha Ann has been an active member of Bethel Baptist Church. She would like for all to know of her great love for the Lord Jesus Christ and urges all of her friends and acquaintances to be sure of their relationship with Him. She is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Moore of Bellvue; daughters, Joy Bird of Loveland and Elizabeth Shippy of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Weston and Alfred Wendling of Denver; and sister, Cynthia Jackson of Portland, Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Martha Ann's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church, 833 S. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Missions Program. Friends may send condolences to the family at
