Mark grew up in Fort Collins and graduated from Fort Collins High School. After graduation he moved to Huntington Beach, CA where he worked laying tile, as a journeyman and a licensed electrician. Mark and Stephannie knew each other in High School, but reconnected in 2003. Three years later they built a home on 46 acres and moved their family to Nunn, CO.

Mark was an avid Bronco fan, loved cars and motorcycles and always seemed to be working on a project. He was always planning on restoring his 67 Cougar, or was working on the motorcycles and recently finished building a greenhouse. Mark's love of motorcycles prompted him to build a motocross track on his property so they could ride anytime. Mark enjoyed going to the races, camping, taking drives and spending time with his grandchildren.

The most important thing to Mark was his family. He had found his soulmate and the love of his life in Stephannie; was so proud to be a dad to Ayla, Alonna, John and Chad; and was over the moon for his grandchildren Kenzlia, Jeremy, Layloni and Dominic . Mark was a hardworking, loving and generous man whose quick wit and sense of humor always put a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. Mark, your loving spirit will shine on through in your children, grandchildren, family and friends; and though you were taken too soon, you will be in our hearts always.
