Margie, as she was called, passed away August 6, 2025 and has been cremated. She was born in Sivett, South Dakota. She and her family moved to their farm in Wellington in 1942. She graduated from Wellington High School.

Margie married Walter J. Winter in August of 1951. They lived in Boulder for 20 years and Margie worked 17 of those years for Boulder Medical Center. Moving back to Fort Collins in 1972, she worked at Colorado State University, retiring in 1992.

Preceding Margie in death were her husband Wally; parents David and Ann Camerzell; sisters, Colleen, Bonnie, Diana Sue, Jean, and Jerry, who passed away at birth, and a brother Claude. Also preceding was Margie's special friend Irvin Schwindt.

Survivors include her sons Daniel and wife Sharon of Golden, Colorado and Bryan of Ft. Collins; sisters Janet Browning and husband Jack, Myrna Marrou, and husband Gary, as well as seven nieces and nephews.

Margie has requested no services and a private burial at Grandview Cemetery at a later date. Bohlender Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Any donations or condolences please send to Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
